The Apostle Paul gives us the picture of marriage in Ephesians 5: 
   "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and
   gave himself up for her…for we are members of his body each one of
   you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must
   respect her husband."  [Ephesians 5:22-33]

   The Marriage Ministry purpose is to promote, encourage,
   and celebrate the marriage union as designed by God. In order to
   do this, we must accept God's sovereignty over our plans, learn how
   it applies to us, and then make application in our everyday lives.

   Activities:
   * Provide biblically-based spiritual education and training in the
     practice of Christian marriage.  Specific Areas:
        a) Marriage Enrichment      
        b) Marriage Preparation     
        c) Divorce Recovery / Divorce Care    Starting February 28, 2008

   * Plan and coordinate Marriage Retreats.

   * Support and promote Covenant Marriage, first in our own
     lives then the church and community.

   Ways you can serve:
   * Get involved by becoming a Ministry Member or enroll in a 
     Marriage Enrichment Class at TPCC.

   * Assist in the further development of classes offered in the
     areas of Marriage Enrichment, Divorce Care, and Blended Families.

   * Help establish and publish a periodic newsletter containing
     information of use and interest for Christian families.
